Shepherds Hut with Scandinavian Hot Tub and hydromassager

Quiet and beautiful location. Warm and cozy accommodation. All the facilities you would need for a few days. Ability to bring our 3 labrador retriever dogs with us and the garden was gated and secure for them.

Was too cold outside to make use of the hot tub (which didnt heat up enough). Lots of ornaments and knick knacks on the shelves (which were charming) that took up much needed space for belongings.

Hot tub was great fun, enjoyed setting the fire and kept nice and warm, location was great and the kids loved the bunk beds and play house in the garden

The feather bedding was very warm but very pokey

Such a lovely place you can't even hear the traffic the facilities were amazing you couldn't have wanted for more I thoroughly enjoyed it

The toilet is a little loose maybe having a couple of bars on the door but apart from that it was lovely

Railway noise/works throughout stay early morning to early evening so ruined a much needed peaceful weekend. Tried to get some type of compensation but not forthcoming so very disappointed.

The location is like a bit of heaven. For those who have grown up in the countryside or are looking for a secluded spot in nature, this place is just amazing. All you can see and hear is nature. No other buildings around that obstruct your view, no neighbours and a very friendly owner. My kids, my wife and I just loved it. Perfect place to wind up for a weekend when looking to run from the day-to-day busy life. For those with young kids, there are loads of toys in the little house, which came like a massive bonus for our family. Not to mention that the hot tub, gas barbecue and the fireplace are just completing the whole experience.

For a fairly skinny family, it won't be an issue, but for those who are large, there's going to be a real struggle to be able to step into the shower. The glass wall is built in, and to enter, even for a skinny person, you have to go sideways. I just can't imagine someone fairly large being able to squeeze in. This has not had any impact on our family, but it's something that may not work for others, and it's worth mentioning.

The whole set up is perfect, and the little finishing touches like providing marshmallows for the fire etc is so thoughtful. We had a great stay here and would happily visit again!
