Spacious City Pad Parking WiFi Family Contractors

This booking was poor from start to finish, the apartment looks lovely in the photos but in reality it's very much a case of style over substance. The apartment was not very clean, the carpets are stained, there was a clump of hair on one of the bedroom floors when we arrived, smeared cabinets, cushions on the bed had some pretty rogue stains on the covers etc. There's a floor lamp in the living room but you can only use it if you unplug the TV or the WiFi, the apartment sleeps 4 but there's 1 tiny sofa and an armchair in the living room so you wouldn't all be able to relax comfortably. The WiFi details left on the coffee table are not actually correct, the beds are very uncomfortable, the mattresses are either very very old or just the cheapest possible one going, they sink in the middle and I woke up with a bad back (not something I usually suffer with and I'm not a big person), the pillows and duvet again are cheap and awful quality, also very thin and it was cold when we stayed. The duvet doesn't actually cover the whole bed I think it's a double duvet on a king-size zip lock bed. In comparison to other places I've stayed their policies are very rigid, extra cost if you want a slightly later checkout or earlier check in. The listing says dates are flexible but they aren't, you have to hand out your card details over the phone to pay a security deposit which is insecure and unadvisable, if you want to use the payment link they charge you to refund the costs. Communication isn't great, a lot of repetitive responses as opposed to your actual queries being addressed. We were also disturbed both nights by noisy people on the street and upstairs, I appreciate this is outside of the management companies control but it's not a quiet place to stay. All in all I'd not go back and I wouldn't recommend it.

A solid 10 out of 10 from us. The apartment is huge, parking is great, and it’s beautifully finished. We could live here it’s so nice! It’s on St Paul’s square….. so when the sun shines you can sit out in the church garden. It’s close enough to the city centre to wander in for a mooch. Grocery shops within a few minutes walk. Such great property.

Narrow drive up to the car park (but there’s nothing you can do about that), still great to be able to park safely though.
