The room was clean

The place was dark, room very outdated, and the tub had water under it making it very difficult to stand. The hotel charged a fee for credit card use

Check in was fine. The breakfast was okay: waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and a runny gravy. The tropical courtyard lobby setting was nice.

The breakfast had only one fruit option. If you got there early you might get a banana, but just like the coffee, it seemed like it never got replaced when the meager supply was gone. There were no yogurt offerings. The syrup dispenser was controlled to a very slow drip, seemingly meant to limit portions. The water dispenser in the lobby had visible mold around the spigots. We didn’t imbibe. The property in general is run down. Carpets are in bad condition, as are the doors and interiors of the rooms. The A/C unit had mold growing on it, and was very loud. The door hanger was sticky. Eww. This place is definitely run on the cheap, and not maintained in a manner that most people would be okay with. We would not stay here again.
