Railway Carriage accommodation with tennis court!

Quirky and comfortable

A fantastic stay in a beautiful location, highly recommend for tennis fans or anyone looking to explore the south downs. Jayne was a wonderful, and incredibly thoughtful, host!

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, ein eigener Eisenbahnwaggon! Alles sehr kompakt, aber sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gut gelegen. Die eigene kleine Station in separatem Gebäude erweitert den Platz. Der private Tennisplatz direkt vor dem Waggon ist toll und kann von morgens bis abends genutzt werden.

We loved the railway carriage! It had loads of character, was very clean and comfortable. The carriage is situated in a very quiet corner of their land surrounded by trees and fields with a number of horses for neighbours. Completely idyllic. Loved our stay.

We loved everything but perhaps to have a better oven for when we cooked in. This is being picky mind.

The railway carriage offered all that was expected, for our stay. It was comfortable and very clean. We had an excellent sleep. The location and surrounding villages are peaceful and in a beautiful area. The hosts of the property are brilliant and very knowledgeable about the area. The hosts also provide a very detailed book that lists all information for surrounding areas and recommendations for eatery's and site seeing. We stayed at the property to attend the Goodwood festival of speed. The property is only a short drive and was ideal for our stay. On the evening we were able to visit the local pub on foot or travel to Arundel for wider options of food and drink. There is also railway house joined to the carriage. That has a darts board and facilities to relax tv, games, fridge to chill drinks. The tennis court is also available to use during the stay. Parking no issues and private. We were a party of 3 adults. Would definitely stay again.
