The picture doesn't do it justice, the apartment was very large and spacious. The host was fantastic and provided us with tons of recommendation from places to eat and what to do for our short stay there.

The location has a great view of the water from the bedroom, but you will need to walk 25 mins to the city center.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The house is a lovely piece of history hidden away in the mountains of Lake Como, but still close enough to the lake and the village of Bellagio. You can be sure you will feel at peace in this rural but welcoming area. Our host Klod was amazing, and super communicative, always ready to help, and gave us some very nice recommendations of places to go in Bellagio. Would definitely come back and stay in the same place and recommend to all.

We loved our two-night stay at Il Convento. Lots of room for our family of five, many traditional Italian design features. Beautiful views from many of the windows, as the property is well up in the hills. Showers and beds were great. Our host, Klod, was very personable and helpful; on departure, he drove us and our nine pieces of luggage down to the boat dock (two round trips). On our arrival, Klod was otherwise occupied, so we pulled those nine pieces up a long series of charming, steep, cobblestone streets. Challenging, but that's part of the adventure of travel, isn't it? We did a lot more walking up and down the hills of Bellagio, which was a breeze without the luggage and endlessly beautiful. We would happily return there and to Il Convento in the future.

Tim, the manager was outstanding! He gave us a ride to and from the house which was much appreciated. And he went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience. He even put an amazing list of recommendations into my Google maps. Which made our trip really great! This was, by far, the most amazing place we have stayed. The house was incredible. So much history and it was really fun to stay somewhere so different! It really was like a museum!

Klod was super friendly and helpful, the convent was very clean and super impressive

It’s a bit further from the centre of town than we thought it would be but it was still great!

wonderful apartments😍 my friends and I had a wonderful weekend! very stylish, authentic, cozy! We were met at the port of Bellagio, the manager Claude gave us a lot of recommendations about the area, he told us everything in a friendly manner! great holiday apartments!
