ROP Penthouse & ROF Apartment by Homega, Terrace, Private Pool & Valletta Views

We had an amazing few days staying in this beautiful apartment, just minutes away from the water front. The hosts were extremely accommodating, leaving welcome treats for our arrival and allowing us to leave our bags safely when we checked out. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and very comfortable, the kitchen was incredible and had every utensil needed with quality kitchenware and having a washing machine and tumble dryer was perfect for us back packers. The small heated pool was just perfect for cooling down and taking in the views.

Everything, This apartment & host thought of everything. It is a stunning,clean and spacious apartment in great, easy location. The communication with the host was great. Inside everything you could ever need had been thought about.

The is not one bad thing I can think of.

The location was superb. Quiet residential street with short walk to restaurants and groceries, public transport and sea front. The flat itself was well equipped (excellent beds!), very clean and just perfect for two couples! The hosts were very friendly and answered all our questions timely. The service was friendly, fast and flexible.

We had a bit of bad luck with a construction site across the street, so we couldn't use the outdoors area during days due to noise and dust coming over. In the flat itself, the only thing I was not 100% happy was the coffee making facilities: a capsule coffee maker.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, decorated and maintained to a very high quality! The welcome gifts were very much appreciated, the different lighting options were great for ambience, and the heated pool is a really good size. We loved the outdoor space, with beautiful views, great for sunrise! The showers are really good, including the outdoor one for the pool, and the inner balcony is an interesting feature! We can’t fault the hosts for anything, from booking, allowing an early check in, easy communication and general hospitality. The WhatsApp group chat just before arrival is very informative, and makes communication very simple. The beds were huge and very comfortable, with a good number of towels for us to use. I’m now on the hunt for Egyptian cotton towels at home, having never understood why they’re better, but after staying, I now know just how good they are! The apartment itself is very quiet, a lot of thought has been put into build and design. While there is building work in Sliema, as there is all across Malta, it didn’t cause us any issues with noise, we were able to enjoy sunny afternoons on the balcony, with some music on our iPad or on the TV. Would completely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a luxury apartment in Sliema, with easy access to the ferry for Valletta centre. Thank you again to the hosts!

Definitely not what I would consider an issue, but potentially room for improvement. A more in depth conversation/ addition to the welcome pack regarding the heating of the pool could be beneficial just to help clarify the timings of heating, due to noise rules, and/or weather. There is a small charge for heating, which is completely acceptable, and I would definitely pay a higher charge for heating to maximum or for longer, where allowed. A different pool cover could also make a difference, and could help with ease of use too. I will say however, that the hosts dealt with my query regarding the pool very quickly, and professionally, meaning our holiday went without a hitch!
