Medieval Charme close to the FrenchRiviera&Monaco

The apartment is on the 1st floor of a mediaval house above a restaurant on one of the bigger streets in the old Ventimiglia. There is no air conditioning, but the air at night was cool enough and sleeping with the windows opened would be ok. There was a smell of cooking oil in the bedroom at night. There is very limited car access on the street so walking with luggage from an underground garage in the Marina, taking elevator from the tunnel… Then we picked up the key to the private underground garage that is about 300 m away under the city and used it. Getting groceries was a big exercise. There are small stores directly in the old city, but very expensive with limited selection.

The owner is only sending emails, she is not present. On the last day we were informed that the garbage and recycling (3 different kinds) are to be taken to a recycling station somewhere. There is no information about recycling in the apartment. We had no idea how does it work in Italy. The recycling bins in the streets are locked and open only when a code is scanned. So we spent the last night running around with recycling. There was a street concert under the windows one night past midnight, sleeping (even with closed windows) was out of question. Generally there was noise under the windows early in the morning too. It would be nice to have hooks on the wall to hang coats somewhere.

Ha un ottima luminosità, una cucina con tutto l'occorrente, spazi adeguati ed è comoda ai servizi di Ventimiglia alta.

Un po' di polvere e le stoviglie non proprio pulite.

Ottima posizione nel.borgo medievale, casa accogliente e pulita, fornita di tutto il necessario (sale, olio, aceto, prodotti per l'igiene personale e le pulizie). Comodo il letto e ampio il divano letto. Cristina è stata molto attenta e disponibile, ci ha fornito numerose indie suggerimenti sui dintorni. Abbiamo usufruito del garage privato: molto comodo

The location in the old part of town was superb, the old streets the atmosphere of the place was great, there is a restaurant directly below and you could only hear the talk and music if the window was open, the food served was fantastic, the apartment facilities were spot on and the bed was very comfortable.

Wish I'd stayed longer.

Wonderful accommodation in a uniquely renovated apartment. We were impressed by the charming atmosphere of the historic town. We appreciated the free parking nearby and also the two nearby restaurants with excellent menus. A great bonus was the bakery with fresh pastries just a few steps from the house.

We were disappointed that we didn’t have more time to enjoy this beautiful destination. Three nights were too short – a week would have been ideal.
