Annex at Southfields in idyllic Hampshire village

Nice location

Not much love and care goes into this property, cobwebs everywhere, temporary window fixings/blinds, just poorly presented for guests, makes it feel dusty and not clean. Random clutter just shoved in places like the bottom of the wardrobe and bathroom in places that aren’t used. It really shouldn’t be described as a two bedroom, as it’s one bedroom upstairs split into two by a make shift thin wooden sort of wall (with gaps) so no privacy from one bedroom to the other. If you are in the single room, you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the toilet downstairs, not ideal. Noisy on Saturday night from a party nearby till midnight, music loud and people right outside the windows. Personally would not stay here again, as I felt it lacked care and attention to the property, it didn’t feel clean, the place is falling apart, the windows are half broken and temporarily patched up, clutter shoved everywhere, cobwebs, needs updating badly.

Quiet location, easy parking. Comfortable bed

Better directions to the property / signage. No TV or working radio

Beautiful rural location but not too far from Basingstoke, rustic features and good indoor and outdoor space for a small family. The hosts were excellent and made us feel really welcome. We particularly enjoyed the well behaved pets making themselves at home alongside us.

Sofa bed could do with an update as quite uncomfortable, creaky stairs and a broken window mesh in the back room.
