Contemporary 3 Bedrooms Apartment Manchester City

Our experience with this apartment was absolutely terrible. After a long and exhausting journey, we arrived to find a complete disaster. The place was filthy—dirty floors, trash left behind (empty bags and coffee jars), and someone else’s laundry sitting in the washing machine. Even the kitchen utensils were disgusting and unusable. The walls are in an awful state, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. On top of that, there were issues with hot water, which made everything even more unbearable. To make matters worse, the host showed no understanding of how unacceptable this was and left us to deal with these problems on our own. Avoid this place at all costs! Also we couldn’t wash very well because hot water was coming so bad and we needed to wait so long that take shower. Also was raining and near window was leaking water so much.

Good value for money (between 6 people it was £50 each for the evening) good location just outside the centre and lovely views across Manchester.

Upon arrival, it was a bit of a struggle to receive the lock code to get into the apartment. I needed to send proof of ID, which was fine but this was not explained to me prior to my arrival. Abrupt manner over the telephone, kept repeating “no parties” when I’d already explained I was not having a party. This should have been discussed with me prior to the day of my arrival, at one point I didn’t actually think he was going to allow me to stay in the apartment that I had already paid for. Fire alarm dismantled and on top of the kitchen cupboard!! States that there is free car parking on a first come, first serve basis - but no actual car park, you just have to abandon your car on double yellow lines outside the building and pray nobody gives you a ticket (luckily we didn’t get a parking ticket).

We found a plasters on the bed , floors were sticky , missing things like remote control , furniture was damaged

The property was nice & comfortable I’ll be honest.

The owner of the apartment I feel scammed me out of a further £200. There was no policy on booking.com of a deposit however on the day as I was travelling to the apartment, I phoned the property owner to get information for the key to get in to the property. He then said he wanted to cancel my reservation because he felt we was having a party? How can you feel someone is having a party before they have even got to the property. Bearing in mind I’m on the way to Manchester with my guests at this point. After a back and forth with him for over an hour and a half trying to convince him to not cancel, He then said the only way he is not going to cancel the reservation is by me agreeing to unofficial terms and conditions over WhatsApp for me to agree to pay a further £200 after paying £400 already. He’s terms and conditions were no parties & any damage. We had no party it was just me and my guests. 8 people. The apartment was left exactly how we found it and clean. We didn’t break any terms and conditions. Now I’ve asked for my deposit back the owner is blatantly ignoring me & refusing to release my deposit back. Very disappointed with how I was treated by the property owner. Very bad business person. He did not contact me to tell me his concerns. He would of made me get to Manchester just to cancel my reservation if I did not contact him.

Comfy beds and good location.

No glasses in the property. No towels or hand towels ready as these were wet on an airer when we arrived.

close to trafford centre ubers easy to get only £10. the host answered calls and text over details when asked and very polite. we didn’t spend much time there but clean and beds comfortable. was happy with facilities and location .
