Location was ideal for us. Easy access to the city centre, supermarkets & the University colleges. The house was generally clean & and the carpets & furniture looked quite new. The house was set in a quiet & peaceful residential area. The support staff for this place were fabulous! Replied to my query on key access. Their response via WhatsApp on my heating enquiry came back within 5minutes!

The kitchen could have been better equipped. Extra cookware, like a casserole dish, & a teapot would have been useful. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels etc. Bedside lamps were aesthetic, as no plug points!

A self contained unit small but comfortable and not too far from Durham centre.

Few things could be better such as one more bathroom if more than four people, access to backyard etc.

The property was big enough for our family and the location was convenient for our needs.

The property’s name is misleading as the location is not scenic at all. Looking at the apartment itself you see it is a cheap refurbishment with no attention to details. Some parts of the wallpaper were peeling off and there was mildew on the windows. In the kitchen there were only 3 proper glasses. Previous guests left empty sugar and tea bags in the containers instead of the bin. No welcome pack nor toiletries, but we found two empty hotel size bottles of shower gel and conditioner. Springy and uncomfortable beds. Bedrooms’ wardrobes looked unfinished and one was partially broken and unsafe. The lawn being unkept mentioned in another review is unchanged. On the wooden deck, that you cannot access since the kitchen door is locked, they also left a toddler toy.

The location is in the middle of everything…everywhere was sooo accessible

I didn’t hear from the host all through my stay there. I called them endlessly and no one ever picked or returned my calls
