Cosy period Bristol property with spacious garden

It was near where we needed to be for a wedding. The bed was comfortable.

Black mould on the bedroom walls and broken blinds. Tatty bathroom fixtures with a partially working shower, a bath plug with no chain, a basin with no plug and a ladder shelf that was falling apart. Owners clearly moving out leaving their packing boxes out, mostly empty shelves and insufficient cutlery and crockery in the kitchen. Also an expired carbon monoxide detector that we couldn’t stop beeping.

Parking was a bit tricky and ended up in the burger King car park at wasn't too much of an issue. Oven didn't work and we had to get a takeaway one night. Main shower head was poor so two things that need work.

I thought it was very homely, we’ll equipped. Really comfy beds, fun and colourful decor!

We couldn’t find the food bin. And the bins could’ve been labelled a bit clearer, but not a big issue.

Property generally nice and cosy, close to location we needed to be, but not too noisy. Lovely bath and quite luxurious bathroom. Cute little set ups with all the beds made etc.

Fridge/Freezer and areas of kitchen not clean and some other areas should have been cleaned better like the shelves in the bathroom. Some parts of the property quite tired, shed in garden falling down, broken handles on a number of doors. Most concerning thing was the boiler had a sticker on it saying it was a month overdue for a service and pressure was low, called the company dealing with the property on behalf of the hosts, they said they would contact them and then update us, never contacted us with an update, which made us concerned for our safety and that this company were not concerned.

Close to Bristol Temple Meads and bus stops.

Broken lights, very dusty, washing machine/ dish washer drainage blockage. The cleaner didn’t come to clean the house even we already paid the cleaning fees.

It wasn’t clean and the floor and walls was damaged

Liked the vibes and the aesthetics of the property. Lovely lay out and provided a nice two night stay. Enjoyed the added extra of the games which gave us some things to do during the day when not out. Rather tidy and clean.

WiFi didn’t work and had no password card to be able to connect even though it was ment to be included in the stay. Tv was in French and wouldn’t connect to any channels. Slightly dusty still in certain places but overall was an enjoyable stay.

It’s a beautiful house with a character
