Normsy Place Seaside Serenity Breath Taking Views

Fab comfy beds, lovely feeling sheets, nicely decorated and clean, everything you need, easy to find, good location for a very close walk to the lovely beach. Great location to travel around the area for shopping, walking etc.

The outside ‘sun terrace’ is actually very tiny and on the front of the house in line with drive ways and where people park their cars. We were hoping to sit out here and enjoy the views but didn’t feel relaxed enough to do this. There is an extremely loud boiler noise that effects the main bedroom through the night and in the morning and goes on for longer than you can ignore but we think this comes from the hotel that the house shares a wall with and is just below the bedroom.

Lovely clean house. Everything that we needed for a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Really clean comfortable accommodation, bathroom especially nice and dealing with owner were positive and accommodating to our needs

Toxic air fresheners all over the house which is troubling for health and shouldn't be inflicted on guests as they are dangerous Really needed some drawers in master bedroom as had to live out my case which wasn't ideal

The house was nice and also the beach was lovely and the cafe and hotel on beach

The village of St bees wasn't very appealing. Had hotels but only one shop come post office. The village looked down at heel. Also the coast line had nice beaches but the towns and villages were not at all attractive so wouldn't go back to that area.

Location was great for dog walks and access to beach, it was very quiet location. When we contacted owner for some information, she rang back promptly

The instruction manuals for washer and tv were not clear and meant that we could not fully use these appliances, until the day before last , when we rang owner, as above There were no sunbeds available to lie on in the garden and, more importantly, there was no gate to stop the dogs getting out from the garden area. We resolved this by putting the 2 wheelie bins there, but not ideal as had to keep moving them to exit the garden area
