Overall, the stay was good and everything went smoothly during most of the visit. The place itself met our expectations and we had a positive experience until the last day.

On the last day, we asked if we could stay a bit longer (check out time extended) and the owner agreed. However, the cleaning staff arrived about 20 minutes before the original check-out time and entered without ringing the bell. We had only slept a few hours and were abruptly woken up and asked to leave immediately. The cleaning service reached out to the host and, only after, the host messaged us saying there had been a last-minute booking and that new guests were arriving soon. This felt like a clear communication issue, both from the host and from the cleaning staff, who were not very considerate.

Location was very good. Almost at the heart of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was clogged and we couldn't use the shower or the toilet for 2 days. We had to move to another hotel for the rest of our stay in Lisbon.

Two bedrooms, the smaller one with a nice soft mattress. Big kitchen (there could be an extra table) with all major equipment. Various books in different languages. Good location, away from the main tourism hot spots but still in comfortable walking distance 10-15min

People upstairs quite noisy late at night. Big construction site to the backside (bedroom and kitchen), started concrete drilling at 7 a.m. on workdays. Lights in staircase broken.
