Santo Stefano Design Apartment by Wonderful Italy

It is placed in the heart of the city, and with some improvement may really become a gem. It has plenty of amenities, but the washing machine needs service and cleaning. We had some issues that were solved by the team the following day, however they should not have been there in the first place.

- cleaning: upon arrival the apartment smelled of cigarette smoke, we had a blood stained mattress protection sheet and a black stained towel. The washing machine smelled foul (moldy) - there is a crack in the wall between the bathroom and main bedroom, that goes all the way bottom up. Also they have not solved the issue of the privacy - the bathroom window has a piece of cloth stuck with scotchtape, that falls everytime you open the window and becomes transparent when turning on the light at night - the air con were dusty and turning them on brought dust in the room, the one in the main bedroom was leaking - the third bed is a camp bed - the hinges of the build in fridge door are broken.

Got the key relatively easily and centrally located

The air conditioning did not work and it made the whole stay there painful and they could not fix the problem

Location, and set back from the square so very quiet and main bedroom comfortable

Second bedroom ..twin beds but the second was a camp bed. Small second shower room and water pressure variable.

The central location is perfect for a short stay. The apartment was great and perfect for our needs; beware of the door for the small bathroom as it gets stuck!

It would've been really helpful to have sugar, salt and pepper, just the very basics.

Location excellent - convenient for sights, restaurants etc. Extremely helpful over check in and welcome. Two bathrooms were useful, plentiful hot water. Wifi was very good (although went off a couple of times and we had to switch it off and on!)

Kitchen - glasses, cups etc a bit limited for 4 people and some salt/pepper/oil would have been useful. Second bedroom did not a have proper second bed - the camp bed was uncomfortable.
