New spacious apartment at superb location

Central location and a spacious apartment.

No ventilation in one of the bathrooms and it was really small. The other one had some water leakage, asked the owner to check it but no one came.

Veldig hyggelig veranda inn mot bakgården, men det var så store mengder fugleavføring der at den ikke kunne benyttes.Den verandaen bør rengjøres grundig, det hadde hevet standarden på leiligheten betraktelig.

The apartment had numerous issues, including: • Door frame detached and fell, narrowly missing my daughter. • Balcony covered in bird droppings. • Broken balcony chair. • Broken shower tray causing flooding — an issue reported in a review last year but unresolved. • Loose bathroom wall tiles. • Ladder left in kitchen. • Dirty mop bucket and jet wash left on the balcony. • Misleading photos that did not reflect the apartment’s poor condition. • Lack of response from the host. To expand on the bird droppings this creates a serious health hazard — exposure to bird droppings can lead to diseases such as histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, and psittacosis, posing significant risks especially to children and vulnerable individuals. This level of neglect is unacceptable and shows poor hygiene standards. Customer service experience: • Booking.com was slow to engage, and the host only responded after 48 hours once booking.com had contacted them the host come back with a poor €50 apology offer. • Booking.com then offered €37, which I rejected. • After further contact, Booking.com refused to escalate or allow me to speak to a supervisor and said case closed. • I initially tried to resolve this through Booking.com’s live chat but was unable to get meaningful assistance. • I then called three separate times, each time hoping for a resolution, but was met with limited help and no escalation offered. • Booking.com eventually told me there was no further action possible and refused to escalate the issue or connect me with a supervisor. I’ve can’t believe booking.com have this property on their platform and that they think it’s acceptable to not help with all of the above issues. I have about 50 photos of the issues but can only upload 4!!!

Very, very, very, very bad experience I am not happy and I need to refund my money because they take us out of the department before I finish my period time
