Large Digbeth Double Room Shared Bathroom

Fantastic location, in the heart of Digbeth with lots of activities on your doorstep, short walk into central Birmingham and new street station! The room was extremely clean and even though it was in a busy location the room was very quiet. The bed was an absolute dream, super comfortable! All communal areas were kept clean and tidy. I booked this room last minute and the host Aimee was very helpful and responded quickly, the check in instructions were clear and the room was a great value so much so I have booked to stay again in a few months!

The entrance way looked like it was a dive. Broken door handle, broken flooring, garbage bags, smelled of urine. For what I got, I paid too much.

Amazing location! So much to do in digbeth. 5 mins round the corner is the custard factory with so much to do, we spent a few nights there! All the shared areas were clean, anything we needed was responded to immediately :)

Nothing honestly, it was a fantastic stay

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. A kettle, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. Despite the very busy street outside, the room was also fairly quiet. Good WiFi was provided. The property owners/managers communicated well and the self check in procedures were clearly explained. The property is very central; it is opposite the Coach Station and within 10 minutes walk of most that Central Birmingham has to offer. The price paid (£128 for two nights) was great value, given the location. It was cheaper than all the hotels in the area, especially as I booked very last minute. I will certainly book again on future trips to Birmingham.

The communal toilet downstairs and shower room upstairs don't appear to be cleaned daily. The washbasin in the downstairs toilet was covered in what looked like makeup for my entire stay. Also, there is ambiguity in the house rules; they state not to eat or drink in the room, yet provide facilities for eating and drinking in the room. There is a full (and very clean) kitchen provided, so there should be space to eat also.
