GBNo staff are present at this location, which is an ordinary house on a terraced residential street near a pub and a garage in central Southampton. The details to find the property and to get inside were accurate. I managed to park on the road outside. There was hot water. There were clean towels and the bedding was clean. It wasn't noisy. From the notes around the house and things like the plastic plants and little lanterns around the place, I think the owner does want to provide a good service but the facilities weren't great.
The whole property has the sense of needing money spending on it and that it has been decorated and furnished with "available" furnishings. There is only one shower and proper sink in the whole property, other than the kitchen sink, between 4 rooms. Upstairs, for 3 rooms, there is only 1 toilet and a tiny hand-washing sink. There are signs saying thing like "After you use the toilet / shower, please spray and wipe down with the antiseptic wipes provided" but there is no spray or wipes. It mentions "help yourself to cereal and chocolate biscuits" but there was only 1 glass jar containing what looked like a chocolate-based breakfast cereal and no chocolate biscuits, etc.
NLgeen ontbijt. Locatie is goed maar uitkijken met betaald parkeren overdag.
TV had wel geluid maar geen beeld. De avond voor vertrek kwam ik in de B&B en stond mijn kamerdeur open met een sleutelbos in het slot. Er is niets gestolen maar er is wel iemand binnen geweest en of andere gasten binnen zijn geweest zal ik wel nooit achter komen. Telefonisch geprobeerd opheldering te krijgen maar kreeg tot 2x toe Voicemail. Wel de backoffice gesproken die de eigenaar zou laten terugbellen maar dat is helaas niet gebeurt. De volgende morgen bleek hij een verklaring op e-mail gezet te hebben; Er moest naar de zonwering gekeken worden ( daar was zowiezo niets mis mee....) en toen heeft diegene vergeten af te sluiten. Typerend dat dit per mail afgehandeld wordt en een gemiste kans om het mij persoonlijk uit te leggen.

FRTout. J'ai réservé à la dernière minute et tout s'est passé pour le mieux. Propriétaire très réactif qui a fourni toutes les informations possibles sur le logement, l'environnement, les restaurants, pubs, activités. Facilité d'accès et logement très sécurisé Chambre avec partage des espaces communs, spacieuse, très confortable , lumineuse. Pas de nuisances sonores. La cohabitation s'est très bien passée. Cuisine bien équipée. Salle de bains très propre Bref un très bon séjour
