The accommodation is in a great location. Buses and the ferry are easily accessible. There are several small shops and markets nearby. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. There is an elevator in the building, and the rooftop terrace is also available for use. The staff were very kind and helpful — I’ve never received assistance from a place of accommodation so quickly before.

From time to time, we could hear some noise from the hallway, such as a child crying, so the soundproofing may not be perfect. However, it didn’t significantly affect our overall experience.

The picturesque photo of the alley way is really an alley full of trash and cigarette butts. The neighbor across hangs out on a bench drinking and smoking directly across from the front door. The bathrooms sliding door leaves little privacy. The top and bottom glass panels are see through. Only the middle 2 are opaque so if you sharing a room with someone other than your wife you will be getting a show for who ever is in the shower. Finishing standards of the room are noticeable. There's a hole behind one of the shower valve covers. Who ever drilled the hole made it to big. Tile is missing in some spots. The trim tile doesn't have a finished end to it. Basically it gives off a vibe of hack construction. The general location isn't bad but it isn't great. Would be better to stay in birgu. This BARELY qualifies as being in conspicua. It's literally at the border end farthest away from birgu. Wouldn't really stay here again. Would find something in Valetta or birgu. Overall it was clean. The whole way of having to wait for a door code is a little nerve racking hoping that you will have reception when you need it. The link for the check in wouldn't work with outlook. Had to contact booking.com and have them send it to my Gmail account.
