The view, balcony & spacious comfortable apartment.

We had a bad stay! On arrival, the chap that met us smelt of fried food and as we entered the apartment, there were several towels draped over the back of the dining chairs and on the radiator. The cleaner left them to air/dry out? He grabbed the towels and just dumped them on the bed. Not a particularly luxurious start to our stay considering the top price that we paid; but certainly not a dealbreaker. Next we find the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, so we used shampoo to wash our hands instead. Again, not a dealbreaker as we can work around that. THE MAJOR ISSUE - from midnight Saturday to around 4:30am Sunday the bass beats and vibrations from the club nearby were soooo incredibly irritating and disturbing it was horrendous to sleep. Bear in mind that this is a 12th floor apartment!!! I messaged the host around 3:30am to state this. We were only staying for one night, so I put earplugs in to try and get some sleep, but it only helped a little. Staying in the central area you expect city noise, but this was ridiculous. The host and I messaged each other during the following morning; she admitted that her cleaner let her down this time which is of course forgivable - we all make mistakes. I also sent a video of the club noise from the balcony to the host. The quality of sleep has to be No.1. If I were the host presented with this much evidence of dissatisfaction, I would offer to reimburse the guest. The host had more than enough opportunity to do the right thing but she failed to make the gesture which is why you deserve to hear our true experience. When you set yourself up in the hospitality business, you need to stay AHEAD of the guest’s needs.

Area behind the building was under construction, but there is very good sound insolation so it did not matter that much.

Absolutely stunning apartment. View is incredible. Balcony is great. Spacious, clean, nice mugs and plates. Free parking. Nice bathroom, good shower. Lovely building. Great location.

Would be great to provide enough coffee pods (2 people for 2 days could do with 4 pods, not 2), and to provide some laundry detergent as buying a big bag for one wash is a bit wasteful. Be aware the AC is only in the living area, not the bedroom, so a fan in the bedroom would be a great addition!

Fabulous views, light, comfortable, beautifully decorated & spacious apartment featuring all the mod cons required when travelling. Safe, luxurious building close to excellent restaurants, shops, hairdressers, tourist sites & public transport. Thoughtful guest provisions & a responsive host. Highly recommended.
