Great stay. Loft room was cool. Staff was even better. Riano was amazing - made last minute arrangements for us that were excellent. Peter at desk for late check in was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Black Heath Lodge for a total of 3 nights but in 2 stays. The hotel is well situated within a 5 minute walk down to south point beach and about a 40 min walk to the V&A waterfront. There are local eateries; we enjoyed rock pool as well as a variety at the V&A. The rooms we had were both lovely. The pool area is lovely. Great breakfasts. Ability to make tea and coffee, grab a biscuit ir fruit at anytime (complimentary). Fresh cake each day at 3 also complimentary. What really sets this place apart is each and every staff members attention to guests and their experience. They are always warm friendly anf more than ready to help. An absolute gem to which we will without doubt return should we be l8cky enough to return to capetown.

Well located for the V&A and short walk to get hop on hop off bus the staff were so friendly and helpful with great advice on where to go and best way to get there

I honestly say there nothing negative to say my relatives had been a couple of times prior to us great reccommend and only 25 minutes easy drive from cape town airport oops forgot to mention breakfasts yummy

My mother and I stayed at the Blackheath Lodge for 4 nights. We had a wonderful experience and would only stay here when we return to Cape Town. A couple elements set it apart. One the location was convenient and safe. The beds were super comfortable. The delicious breakfast (even eggs benedict!) and treats (small cookies and cake in the afternoons) set us up for the whole trip. Finally, Godfrey, Riano and the whole team just care a lot and go above and beyond. For example, we had a township tour scheduled without transportation, they advised us and set us up on a wonderful and safe tour with a hotel pickup. Or, I wanted a manicure for my mom and I and they found the perfect one. My only advice would be we were in room 1 which is a little close to the main entry so I would probably ask for a different room next time, but iit was still beautiful and comfortable, we were just so incredibly lucky they had availability given how full they always are.
