"Unreliable - cancelled our booking on us last minute with no explanation or accommodations"

The location and hotel were very nice. We never saw the specific unit that this person has listed.

We arrived at the hotel at around 11:00 am. I went to check in as instructed at the front desk and they had no record of our reservation. I tried to contact the host several times and finally heard back about an hour later. We were informed that they needed us to cancel our reservation because the unit was no longer available. I explained that this was a huge inconvenience and that to book directly with the hotel was around $40 more. He said he would refund the difference over zelle. I never received the zelle and he continued to request that I cancel on my end. The front desk didn't seem surprised that this happened with this particular unit. Thank god they had a room at this hotel or we would have had to find another hotel and paid for another uber to get there.
