Medieval terraced house in Vieste Vecchia

Voglio fare una premessa, la Signora è stata gentile e la struttura è davvero carina, però abbiamo avuto qualche disguido. Sicuramente la casa è in una posizione centralissima, in pieno centro storico e questo può essere un valore aggiunto ma anche un ricettacolo di difficoltà. Arrivarci soprattutto quando la zona viene chiusa al traffico con i bagagli è davvero un'impresa impossibile, in piu le scale essendo una costruzione antica,sono molto alte e quindi anche difficoltose da fare sia se c'è qualcuno di un po piu anziano sia per trasportarci i bagagli. In quella zona inoltre essendo la zona alta della città spesso l'acqua va via nelle ore in cui tutti si devono fare la doccia e noi siamo rimasti in 5 bloccati ad aspettare che l'acqua tornasse. Non è sicuramente colpa della Sig.ra però avvisare gli ospiti che un eventualità del genere si possa verificare credo sarebbe una pratica corretta. Inoltre per quanto pulita e ben arredata, mancavano quelle piccole attenzioni e cura dei particolari che avrebbero potuto fare la differenza.

Unica pecca, essendo una casa antica ha delle scale molto scomode

Prachtig appartement in het historische centrum van Vieste. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig in het nette, probeer appartement. Het was gelegen in de smalle straatjes van het historische centrum gaf rust in de avond terwijl het uitgaans leven maar enkele straten verder was. Wij zijn hier maar 1 nacht gebleven omdat wij op doorreis waren, maar willen zeker naar dit appartement terug komen om wat langer te blijven en Vieste uitgebreider te bezichtigen.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre giorni in questa struttura. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Alloggio pulito, molto carino in ordine in pieno centro. Spiagge attrezzate raggiungibile con una passeggiata a piedi di 15 minuti. La proprietaria è stata cordialissima. Valuto tutto eccellente.. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Mi è piaciuta moltissimo la struttura dove ho alloggiato per il weekend. Un appartamento accogliente, situato in una splendida zona di mare, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. L’alloggio era moderno, ben arredato e dotato di tutti i comfort, perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata al sole. Anche la posizione si è rivelata comodissima per raggiungere ristoranti, negozi e fare passeggiate. Inoltre, la signora che ci ha accolti è stata gentilissima, sempre disponibile e attenta a ogni esigenza. La sua accoglienza ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Un’esperienza breve ma davvero speciale, che spero di ripetere.

Situated in old town, steps from restaurants and shops. Host is NOTHING SHORT OF FABULOUS! Note that we visited in June 2025 (before peak season), and many nearby cafes were closed in the mornings. Also highly recommend a boat tour. We did the "Desiree" three-hour tour of the coast. About $30 Euros per person. Highlight of the trip.

The property is in a no-driving area (you must meet the host in a piazza nearby) and has VERY steep steps throughout (at entry way and to reach 2nd bedroom). Would not recommend it for anyone who cannot lift luggage easily and would not recommend it if you are claustrophobic.

Everything was perfect! Hildegard the host was prompt answering questions and met us at a prearranged spot near the house, and walked us to the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped and you can easily cook a full meal there if you wish, however there are excellent restaurants within walking distance. The place is freshly renovated and spotlessly clean. The sheets were crisp and clean and the bed was comfy. The upstairs bedroom has its own two piece bathroom which was a nice surprise. A few things to note: the shower room is through the main floor bedroom, and the stairs are very steep so this place is unsuitable for those with disabilities.

I can't think of anything missing or that could use improvement.
