"An overall comfortable stay with a helpful host and understanding host on hand."

Comfy beds, airing cupboard, friendly and helpful host who put in effort to make our stay comfortable, and location were all great.
A few things like the wobbly tap in the kitchen, some areas could have been cleaner on our arrival, leaky area around the shower.

The place was in an easily accessible location. We travelled by car but its fine even without I think. The owner provided all the information required for checkin. The place was quite spacious. The room also had a TV which was quite nice. Heating and hot water was working well.
The main drawback for me was that it lacked the comfort factor - for example the kitchen could have been stocked better with essentials, no proper place to dry clothes and the bed had only 2 pillows! Also the bedroom and toilet were up a steep flight of stairs so we left all our luggage downstairs in the living room which was a bit inconvenient. There was also some mould on the bedroom and bathroom ceiling.
