Vibrant Studio Near the Nottingham Castle

The decor is nice, lovely colour scheme. Decent sized studio in fantastic location, surrounded by lots of very good restaurants and bars. The bathroom was very clean. A very good price for the amenities you get.

When you enter the building you are greeted with a large pile of mail on the floor, which gives the impression that nobody comes to check on this property. Banisters were falling off the walls. I was given no prior information regarding my room number or floor. After calling their helpline and speaking to multiple people I was finally given the details, however it was incredibly concerning that nobody seemed to know where I was supposed to be. I had to lug a 23kg suitcase up a narrow staircase with a slipped disc. The flat had not been adequately cleaned before my arrival. The dishcloth in the kitchen still had bits of dried food left from the previous guest. The utensils hadn’t been properly cleaned either, which I understand the guests are supposed to do before they leave, however it would be nice if the cleaners would double check these details. The floors weren’t very clean and the cupboards were incredibly dusty inside the cupboard which results in my clothes also gathering dust and looking dirty. For some reason they had appliances that were still in boxes such as the iron, and lamps with their labels still on. The studio appeared to be half lived in half showroom and it looked very odd. The toilet in the bathroom is so close to the wall that it’s incredibly difficult to sit comfortably in the bathroom.
