Beautiful setting, such a large property, really nicely renovated and very well equipped. Lovely grounds. Short drive to the coast.

"Exceptional"

10.0

It is a very spacious family farmhouse which is a little bit out of the way. But a lovely place to stay if you want to getaway from big cities

"Excellent! Would highly recommend *****"

10.0

This is an exceptionally nice property - 6 double bedrooms 3 full bathrooms and a downstairs w/c. 3 separate living rooms and a fabulous kitchen with breakfast bar and separate dining room. Our large family stayed here for 3 nights and everyone in the group loved it.

Couldn’t say anything bad about this property

"We had a lovely weekend in a lovely home"

10.0

This is a stunning property in an idyllic setting and the photos don't do it justice. It's been very thoughtfully and tastefully renovated by the owners and was perfect for our three-generation family of 13 (including 5 grandchildren ages 3 - 21). The owners, Nathan and Charlotte, were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble - a welcome pack of useful bits and pieces was provided and they went above and beyond to help us following an incident with our wing mirror. The six bedrooms were all good sizes and two extra large beds were split to two singles each, which prevented some sibling arguments- thank you. The three separate living room areas (four including the lovely sun room) provided ample space for people to be able to do their own thing if they wished and the main living room was big enough for us to come together as a group. The kitchen is simply stunning; it is light and airy and very well equipped with modern appliances and lots of cupboard space (it took us a while to realise that the microwave was in fact a function of the top oven!) There's generous fridge and freezer space for those who wish to self-cater. The large dining table was big enough for all of us. The children made excellent use of the well equipped games room (air hockey was a firm favourite!) and the adults made use of the washing machine and tumble dryer, which were a life-saver. Unfortunately we didn't have time to make much use of amazing outdoor space (which includes a fire pit) partly due to our demanding itinerary of exploring and eating out in the local area. We would definitely recommend the Talbot Arms at Uplyme for a Sunday carvery and fish and chips on the beach at Lyme Regis.
