"this trip served our needs & purpose, if we go again it would be to go to Bromo, Semeru, Arjuna etc"

Central location in historic area of Malang, good staff, last time in Malang was 1982, now a crowded busy city with understandable traffic issues. But we came specifically to see aging friends not seen in 50 years so the time spent with them up at Batu & nearby city areas was invaluable.

location and the breakfast area

No ambiance whatsoever apart from the restaurant. The bed was so dirty, you don’t want to sleep in it. Towels had stains. We left.

"Very basic"

Kind of very basic motel... oldish, wouldn't stay more than a night, but still ok as last mn booking for a busy weekend. Simple bedroom with basic bed, quite big. Bathroom rustic and not really clean.
