Grand Parliament Duplex by Homing

Very good location and easy to get to shops and the town centre on foot. The apartment has a garage which was a lifesaver when we rented a car, although it is very tight so is quite difficult if you have a 7-seater like we did!

The free airport transfer was a bonus, although it dropped us off about a 5 minute walk away from the actual property.

It is a very nice duplex, very well-positioned: it is very easy to reach any area of Lisbon from it. The spaces in the flat are adapted to groups of up to 8 people. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the flat was clean. The tram stops a minute away, which also improves the accessibility (for light sleepers, one room has a window just above the tram; it can get quite noisy after 6:30 in the morning).

For such a big flat with all this equipment (particularly in the kitchen), I would expect to have at least soap to wash the dishes or for the dishwasher. Otherwise, it is difficult to leave everything clean when leaving. Clearly, it is a detail, but it would make the stay easier for the guests.

It could be a good place to stay, but it's not. According to the description, there are two bathrooms, but in one of them there is simply no water in the shower and above the toilet there is this sign: please do not put paper in the toilet. What?? The other bath is not better either, because there the water simply flows out from under the tub after every use. According to the description, there is an air conditioner, but in fact there is a non-functioning air conditioner only on the first floor, it is simply unusable, it can't even cool the room upstairs, not to mention the lower level where the bedrooms are. However, you have to leave the window open at night, which makes it impossible to rest, because we are in the city center, where the tram runs, there is a bar at the bottom of the house, a weed shop across the street and the noise is constant. The kitchen is said to be well equipped, but the kitchen hood doesn't work, there is no kettle, and the coffee maker is bad. The dinner séta is gappy and everything is terribly dirty! We started by putting everything we wanted to use into the dishwasher and wiping the kitchen with a disinfecting cloth. The light bulb is out in several places, and the front door is difficult to open. Communication is terrible, no response to complaints. They never answered any questions before. This accommodation is not worthy of booking.com, I don't see why it should be among the ads at all!
