Downstairs was comfy, well lit, well equipped. Quiet. Bed comfy and pillows good

Main bedroom was cold, radiator didn't work. Had to buy warmer nightclothes ! Second bedroom and bathroom better but still not as warm as downstairs. No extra blankets or fleeces.

Everything. Jessica is the most wonderful host, I couldn't recommend her place or her hospitality more. Her support throughout was heartwarming

The location is great - close to the train station and shops and canal of Macclesfield and is very quiet. The kitchen is very well stocked with all utensils needed. We had a bottle of Prosecco left for us which we drank on our anniversary - nice touch. The host was available for all queries that we had.

Adding a shampoo/ soap dispenser in the bathroom. Black out curtains in the master bedroom could be good.

Outstanding again. This stay is perfect. Such attention to detail, and incredibly kind and perceptive host. Really, nothing more anyone could ask for. We felt so cared for again and looking forward to our return so much. We even mentioned how the one thing that would be helpful was a banister rail and a few weeks later when we stayed again one had been put in. Incredible service and wonderful all round.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

"A pleasant little town house which was cosy and a comfortable stay."

8.0

The property was close to the town and suited our needs with visiting family during our stay. The house was big enough and had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The house had lots of character and is clearly a very old property with the sticker in the front window with the fallen soldier who had lived there during the great war. The hosts had met our requests and also left complimentary chocolate and biscuits which was a nice touch. :)

Parking situation wasn't great, as it was a narrow street and would have to reverse down from the main road in order to park as you aren't able to turn the car around to get out with cars parked either side of the street . However we parked on the main road as there wasn't any space to park anyway which wasn't a huge problem. I guess these sorts of houses weren't designed for car parking with the age that they are. The door to the house was fiddly to get in and out off, as you had to turn the key and push the handle down at the same time to open and close, bit of a pain when holding luggage or the child. The bathroom has mould present on one of the walls, which needs sorting. The Sofa was heavily stained. There was no rail on the wall for the stairs which was quite dangerous especially when carrying a baby up and down with being a narrow low staircase. The entrance to the kitchen had a stone tile broken on the floor and we caught our feet on it a few times with it being sharp.
