USBeautiful view, great location
We were really looking forward to our stay in St. Martin, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The listing stated that the apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, which was one of the main reasons we booked — but that was misleading. There was no oven and only a few basic utensils, definitely not what we expected. When we arrived, the apartment wasn’t even ready, which made things uncomfortable after a long trip. On top of that, communication was a major issue. We had tried reaching out to confirm our arrival time, but received no response. Once we arrived and found the apartment unprepared, we had to call the owner directly. Unfortunately, he didn’t speak English and passed us along to someone else who also couldn’t communicate in English, so we ended up speaking with her daughter who knew a little. To make matters worse, they initially told us we didn’t even have a reservation, despite having a confirmation and proof of payment from Booking.com. After some time, they finally sorted it out. The apartment itself was not very clean upon arrival, which was disappointing. That being said, the location was fantastic, and the view from the apartment was absolutely beautiful — which was the highlight of our stay. Overall, while the setting was great, the poor communication, misleading description, and lack of preparation really impacted our experience.
FIWe had a lovely holiday week in this clean, modern apartment. Amazing balcony and the view. Pool and beach near, kids loved this.
