Rustic paradise nestled in nature

Nestled in the tree tops, the rustic retreat has a magnified aspect, looking over the ocean at the setting sun. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, there are plenty of places to snuggle up with a book, and being off grid adds a romantic charm with candlelit evenings.

The fire range didn't quite heat the home but the hosts provided extra gas heating which made the second morning much more toasty.

It was nice and cosy with a good view.

There were people below us, not a big problem tho.

Love this wee magical hideaway. The bed is super comfortable with quality mattress, topper and linen. Enjoyed waking to the view and sound of sea and birdlife. Lovely to sit with a drink and a book and watch the day end on the balcony.

While I enjoy being woken to daylight, there was the main curtain missing from bedroom window so probably more ideal to have the option to be able close that for a bit of a sleep in on holiday or take an eye mask!

The location was exceptional and the place was well furnished, providing everything we’d have needed and the furniture was comfortable

It would have been good to know before booking the water restrictions (though that wouldn’t have changed my mind on booking) and that there was someone living below - we felt conscious of noise and stomping around
