Rutland Lodges At Greetham Valley

The location is great and the lodges are just far enough away from the hotel and golf course to feel like you were in your own little area but close enough to use the facilities.

Clean, warm, comfortable, great beds. Easy to park. Club house offers nice food & beer & wine. Our 5th stay….. its half way between family and home and we always go to see the Ospreys. The hotel is just as good. Thank you.

Location was very peaceful and there was adequate space for all of us. Having two bathroom was a huge plus point.

We requsted an accessible lodge at time of booking as we were travelling with an elderly relative who has mobility difficulties. However this did not appear to have been factored in when allocating our lodge.

Perfect location, great lodge.

We liked the space, the cleanliness and the comfort of the lodge.

We would have liked a little more light in the lounge. We like to play cards in the evenings.

Our small groups of engineers have been staying over the last few months, whilst working locally. They have all enjoyed their stays, however they didn't generally use the restaurant facilities, as they cooked in their own lodge.

Nothing, all reported good stays. Would definately reccomend.

The lodges were quiet and roomy.

This stay was booked well in advance for a very important family weekend - some relatives I hadn’t seen in almost ten years - yet the experience was extremely poorly handled. I advised Greetham Lodges that I would arrive on Saturday morning, not Friday night we arrived at 12:15pm after a three-hour drive and were given keys to a lodge that was already occupied. Reception repeatedly insisted there was only one bookings under our surname, despite my uncle and I having separate bookings under separate names. We were even told my uncle must have taken our key, which was incorrect. After around 45 minutes of confusion, followed by nearly another hour waiting for a different staff member to start their shift, we were still given no clear explanation or solution. We were unable to unload, settle in, or access any accommodation during this time. An alternative room was eventually shown to us, but it was dark and not of the standard booked. Only after pointing out clearly empty cabins were we told one could be cleaned, and we finally gained access at 5:30pm... over five hours after arrival, completely disrupting pre-arranged family plans and a surprise birthday meal. Due to the disruption and poor handling, I requested a full refund. Greetham Lodges advised this would need to be processed via Booking.com. However, Booking.com have since confirmed that they have received no response from Greetham Lodges despite reaching out. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience during what should have been a special family celebration.
