Sapphire Apartment Zagreb

The apartment is in a great location, the key pickup was easy, and parking can be found on the street in front of the apartment, but it's not free; it costs 13 euros per day. The apartment is clean and has all the essentials you need for an overnight stay or a few days' vacation. Communication with the hosts is quick and easy.

The apartment was quite cold upon arrival, but it warms up within a few hours. Despite the overall cleanliness of the apartment, the kitchen utensils were quite dirty (I believe it’s in hosts best interest to check them before the arrival of other guests). The bed is large enough, but it has an extremely soft mattress.

The apartment is newly refurbished and well designed to efficiently utilize the small space. We felt it was quite roomy enough for two people for a stay of several nights. All necessities, and some extras are provided, even things like scissors, drying-up cloths, and of course the washing machine if one needs that. Everything works well, and the bed is large and comfortable. The host clearly knows what guests need, and she communicates very well. It was easy to follow her instructions for self check-in. Two aspects that the host really can't control - one is noise from the trams, which is not a problem during the day, but did keep us light sleepers awake for some of the night. The other is the public entryway, which like many other urban apartments in Croatia, is run-down. Once in the apartment, it's like night and day - you enter a clean, modern, well-maintained space. The location is convenient to trams, but not in the shiny, spiffy part of the city.

The apartment is well dressed! Near to the city center. Access to the trams. Cozy. And also the washing machine!!! It was a great use to us!
