"Decent stay given the circumstances"

The hotel has a beautiful view, pool, and gardens. The restaurant serves a decent amount of options and the food was very good. We were able to enjoy all during the day when we arrived. However the entire town had lost power that day and the hotel did not have a generator. We spent our one night there in the dark with a few candles. The hotel did its best to accommodate this issue.

Perhaps the hotel should look into getting a generator for future black outs. The bathroom had only a small window so we were using it in complete darkness and there was no hot water because of lack of power.
