Villa Panorama Kalkan Jilda Livya

The villa was extremely big, with excellent facilities. The showers were modern and powerful, bedrooms large and beds comfortable. The pool was perfect and the view from the villa is simply breathtaking. We also loved the outdoor cinema screen. We met the hosts a few times and they were really friendly and always on hand to help with any questions we had.

As others have mentioned the hill outside is steep - however Kalkan has hills everywhere! It wasn't a big deal at all for us, but may be if you had mobility issues.

The view is outstanding. The amenities make the stay very comfortable.

A book/folder with instructions and information would be really useful, though Jilda and her husband were so helpful.

The villa is beautiful—spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. It has two nice bathrooms and great shower. The view from the pool is absolutely stunning, and the pool itself is well-maintained. We also appreciated the nice gas grill and enjoyed watching movies at the outdoor cinema in the evenings. Every sunset was a highlight of our stay. The villa is well-equipped, and the local markets are conveniently located just 400 meters down the hill. There’s private parking available, but it’s located at the top of the hill. The villa is about a 2-hour drive from Dalaman Airport.

While the view from the villa is truly amazing, it comes at the cost of a challenging location. The villa is situated at the top of a steep hill, which makes going up and down difficult, especially on foot. The road leading to the villa is very narrow and steep—as shown in the pictures—and can be quite tricky to navigate. Driving up requires experience and a capable vehicle. Thankfully, we had rented a brand-new, high-clearance car, which made it manageable. However, this was not communicated in advance by the landlord, so the first drive up was quite a shock. Another issue was the limited information provided during the online booking process. There was little orientation or detail about the villa, and communication with the landlord—who was based in the USA—was not ideal due to the time difference. I also asked about how to use the jacuzzi, but unfortunately, my question was ignored. During our stay, there was a brief electricity cut, but it was quickly and efficiently resolved by Nagdet, the man responsible for pool maintenance. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Although he didn’t speak English, my basic knowledge of Turkish made it possible to communicate. We’re very thankful for his support. Lastly, the jacuzzi wasn’t clean when we arrived, but we managed to clean it ourselves and were able to use it without any issues.

Privacy, beautiful view and a great villa!

The location is exceptional. All the facilities are just what you need for a holiday. The great panorama seen from the house, but especially from the terrace, is impressive. The infinity pool overlooking over the sea, the islands and the city of Kalkan is the highlight.

I didn't like that the vacation ended too quickly. I wanted to stay there all summer.

Fantastic views of Kalkan from the villa. Quiet and private. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would expect. A high quality villa which is very well maintained.

The drive up the steep hill and parking space took a bit of getting used to but well worth it for the privacy and amazing views.

No instructions of how to use the big screen TV. No instructions for recycling , or what to do with our rubbish.

We arrived stressed from the journey, but once we were there the landlord was incredibly helpful and kind. The villa looks even better than in the pictures, it has a breathtaking view and was very clean and lovely decorated. Our stay there was super relaxing, the villa and pool are private ( no one from the outside can look in) and and it was a great experience! The neighbors were also helpful. The city is only 7-8 car minutes away and has lots of restaurants and shops. But there are also a few supermarkets next to the villa. Thank you again to our landlord! You will need a car to get to the villa, but the villa has a parking space for you reserved.
