"Still very new"

7.0

The house is obviously very new, therefore everything is in very good condition. The rooms were bright and spacious. The living room joined onto the kitchen allowed for continued conversation amongst our group. The en suite room at the top of the house is absolutely gorgeous.

The house is very clinical because of its newness and not very welcoming. It could do with some soft furnishings such as curtains, even if they don't close. Some pictures on the wall would help with it being a little more homely. There was no hand towel in the downstairs toilet and only one dish towel in the kitchen. This has the potential to be a great house to stay in if the owners/managers put some more homely touches. A couple of games, jigsaws, books etc would go a long way. The mattress was too soft for me.

"Our stay was lovely, we did enjoy our time however just some things that could be improved 😊"

6.0

We stayed in the inchconnachan apartment as was asked if we could change which we were happy to do so. The lady was lovely and kept in good contact, we were due to stay during the red weather warning and due to this we’re unable, the lady was very flexible and gave us another weekend instead. The apartment had everything you needed for a stay away, was a good location for Loch Lomond and also next to train line.

During our stay there was a few things, we went to go for a bath and while running the water realised that the bath plug didn’t close, resulting in us unable to use bath. We also had the cutlery drawer handle hanging off, we did manage to fix this ourselves by tightening the screws. We did find a receipt in one of the bed side drawers from July 2024, along with an open bag of maltesers, suggesting the drawers haven’t been cleaned out.

"Highly recommend. Great value for the money."

Townhouse exceeded our expectations. Lots of room with a very modern design. 3 bedrooms with a futon in the master suite made for great sleeping arrangements. Although the townhouse was off of the beaten path, Loch Lomond was only a few minutes north and Dumbarton a few minutes south.

As per my wife, mirror in master suite is in a strange location instead of above the sink.

"Modern comfort"

9.0

Super modern & fresh & huge! Nicely decorated & clean. The recliner couches were a lovely surprise! Great house, especially for the money & very handy for what Loch Lomond has to offer. Plenty shops & takeaways etc in Alexandria just few mins away in car. For young families, there’s a great soft play just 5/10 mins walk from house too. Host was very helpful with things to do with my two boys.

Only a few things I can say I would have liked - some garden seating, WiFi instructions (which was brilliant all round the house once connected) and some wine glasses!
