The view was spectacular! It was also very comfortable and cozy in the hut. Our boat captain out to the hut, Felipe, was phenomenal. Very friendly and took us to see amazing icebergs before we got there!

Wow Wow and Wow - this is a once in a lifetime experience. Sleeping in the middle of glaciar area is truly a unique experience not to be missed. the quarters are small but very comfortable. Bring your own wine and enjoy the peacefulness and quiet view. and even though it raining Filipe was great about making sure we saw and learned a bit about the glaciers too which was lovely. It's not cheap but worth the experience!!

the ONLY thing we could think of is because you are laying down so much, if the back of the bed had a soft railing so you could prop yourself up as the pillows weren't enough for that. but this is just a minor minor tweak.

Tout d'abord l'accueil. Nous avons tout de suite étés pris en charge, et informés de tout ce qu'il y a à savoir pour passer un excellent moment seuls, au milieu des icebergs. Puis nous sommes partis pour le tour privé en zodiaque sur le Fjallsarlon avec des explications sur le glacier, les icebergs, la formation et l'évolution de la glace. Passionnant ! L'Igloo n'est pas grand, par définition, mais l'espace y est optimisé et c'est un très joli petit nid. Nous y avons passé un moment magique. On se sent en sécurité et le spectacle est grandiose.

Petit bémol cependant, le repas. Il s'agit plus d'un pique nique que d'un repas, nous avons reçu un wrap industriel (pâte élastique, sans goût et non cuite). Pas d'alternative. Il y en avait deux par personne, un au poulet et un végan, mais ils n'ont pas tenu compte des allergies, et aucune boisson autre que de l'eau n'était proposée. Pourtant c'est vraiment l'endroit où l'on rêve d'une petite coupe de champagne... Le petit déjeuner n'était pas mieux, pain américain spongieux et sans goût. Nous nous empresserons d'oublier ce repas pour ne retenir que le positif.

Very unique experience. Cozy, comfortable, quiet, peaceful.

The sandwichs were good but letting the occupants choose the sandwich would be preferable. 2 chicken or 2 veggies would have been better than 1 of each. The rod on the bathroom door conflicts with clothes hanging in front of it. Maybe replace the door with a curtain. The floor was slightly cooler and informing the occupants to consider bringing slippers might be nice. Not a big deal though. Our water pump didn’t work so we had to use our drinking water to wash with. We got by fine but for the price, the pump should be working. I preferred regular bottled water rather than the carbonated water that was furnished.

Unbeatable view. We saw a herd of caribou on the mountain to the east of the glacier. Our boat driver was wonderful.

I love the extremity of this place. Along with that came a couple of risks that concerned me. Reliance on a digital keypad lock if you’re on the deck and the door blows closed. No emergency radio. Icy water and no shelter on land even if you swam to shore. Also, we were told to use the provided phone number to call only if there was a true emergency. I honored that but therefore had no help when the water stopped working. Cryptic printed instructions did not help us get it working again (and I work on pump systems as part of my career). None of this ruined our enjoyment of this stunningly beautiful location.

A unique experience you will always remember. The private boat tour to the cabin with our guide Thomas was amazing. The view and serenity are second to none. The cabin is modern and clean. The bed is comfy. Temperature was great. The included food was delicious and so much.

Remember you are in a very fancy tent on the glacier lagoon rather than a hotel room :) All very clearly communicated so no surprise, but beware that the toilet is a fraction of an airplane toilet with no real door, there is no shower, and you need to be super careful with everything.
