Top Floor Brighton City Apartment

Staying here was good. The flat is very well located, about 10mins from the station and 10 mins to the seafront! It’s very cosy and warms up fast, which was good, and the view is really nice too!

We had to wash everything we used due to a lot of the cutlery, cups and pots being dirty, including the grill rack in the oven, and the the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and other places around the flat. Also the drainage in the bath and sink needs fixing as we only had showers but the water would take ages to go down the drain as if we had a bath. Overall though, we had a good time.

Having read previous reviews I was a little bit hesitant at what I’d see but all was good. The location (a little higher up) meant little noise at ground level.it was spacious, relatively clean (definitely not a cleaner that moves things like toasters) to wipe surfaces….There was a slight smell of smoke when we arrived but disappeared soon as all windows open. Not sure how many people live in the block but everyone friendly and helpful. I would certainly go back as it’s so close to shops and facilities. I also liked having shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom

I certainly didn’t walk in and begin complaining about the place but some little things might generate it to another level. Perhaps a plug for the kitchen sink so you can wash up properly instead of under running water. Maybe invest in some darker duvet colours because a white one looking a little grey doesn’t enhance the look. Oh and the main thing, take ear plugs. Not because of the neighbours but the nesting pigeons and early morning seagulls (4am) are horrendous (something the owners can’t do anything about). PLEASE NOTE the positives far outweigh the negatives and I’d go back

The property was in a great location, very central and decorated nicely inside

Most of the apartment was clean however some of the plates and cutlery hadn’t been cleaned properly and the shower was blocked. the flat is on top floor and there’s a lift to go up however you have to walk along to the apartment outside like a balcony, it’s quite high and scary if you’re not good with heights. We couldn’t lock the bedroom window which is accessible from the outside

Flat was filthy, had NOT been cleaned after last use. Moved to another flat owned by people as it was very late, but that was substandard, smaller, in disrepair, plus I had to work out how to get hot water, had no wifi, no instructions, and certainly not what I paid for.

Great location and all the amenities you could need. Comfy bed and easy check in.

There was a drainage issue with bath/shower as there was hair in the drain clogging it. Wasn’t cleaned properly and dirty knife and plate in kitchen. I think this is as previous guests are asked to clean.

Very clean & comfortable. Located centrally in Brighton, very easy to get around.
