The apartment was very clean and well equipped, there was (umbrella beach, iron, iron board..)The host was very nice and very helpful and the place was close to the center.

The streets were full of garbage and although the area looks a bit sketchy it is safe to walk.

Very nice place, a modern studio with all you need for a comfortable experience. It is exactly as the description and walkable everywhere. We went out very early in the morning and some shops around already open (2min walks there is a place where you can pick what to add to your sandwich, just amazing). We also went back late at night and nothing to worry about, just the perfect place to stay. Central enough for walk and also outside the centre enough for not having noises at night.

Some reviews make some points about the location at night but honestly I think it's just a lack of a sense of diversity (and probably classism and racism?) The place is in a very nice multicultural neighbourhood which mirror a real sense of Palermo. As a woman I felt comfortable and safe in all my walks around early morning or late at night.

The accomodation was good. The host is very nice and tries very hard to help her guests.

1) Ensure when arriving to avoid the area the GPS takes you when coming from the bus terminal as it is very sketchy— Go to Via Roma near the train station and make your way up via Roma and then left to the accommodation address. 2) The host was concerned about the cost of the air conditioning—an increase in the fee for booking the stay should be made to cover this cost, especially when experiencing higher than 30 degree temperatures every day. 3) Booking.com needs to make sure that all properties are aware their phone numbers need to have normal access for guests and not be dependent on what’s app.

The apartment is comfortable, a lot of space. Very clean. Excellent location. Was quiet at night. The host was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!
