Masseria Tagliente By Raro Villas

Un séjour hors du temps Nous avons passé 3 nuits avec notre fils de 4 ans. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter le centre des Pouilles. Cette Masseria (maison familiale imposante sur un domaine agricole) appartient à la famille de Carlo depuis 200 ans. Carlo nous a gentiment accompagnés pour une visite du domaine et de ses trullis La maison est un véritable musée, un vrai voyage dans le temps. Les murs épais offrent une agréable fraîcheur. Notre chambre était très grande avec beaucoup de charme Le petit déjeuner varié (avec du lait de la ferme) sur la terrasse ombragée a été apprécié Et enfin la piscine est très agréable. C’est sans aucun doute un hébergement que nous n’oublierons pas. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés!

It has the true spirit of Italy – a stunning summer estate with a family tradition dating back to the 19th century. The property is vast, with gorgeous architecture, olive groves, open fields, and pastures. The terrace, pool, and gazebo are absolutely lovely, and I haven’t seen a poolside garden this well cared for in a long time – it looked like something straight out of a top interior design magazine. The whole place truly deserves recognition! Everything feels genuine and authentic. The owner took us on a wonderful tour of the villa, the stables, the fields, the private chapel, and the vegetable garden. He shared the story of his family and the estate – it felt like walking through a living museum. It was an unforgettable experience! The hosts are incredibly kind and always willing to chat or offer advice. They were constantly making sure we had everything we needed – such warmth and kindness, I’m honestly at a loss for words. There are only four rooms on the property, and the owner gets to know every guest and their individual needs. The intimate atmosphere in such a grand estate is a rare and special experience. The interiors are tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, and again – everything is real, not staged. What’s more, the whole place has been thoughtfully adapted to meet modern standards: the bathrooms are top-class, the rooms have excellent Wi-Fi, and the air conditioning is quiet and high-quality. A perfect blend of historical charm and modern comfort. Breakfasts were simply outstanding! Local cheeses, delicious coffee, homemade food... We were especially surprised by the amazing homemade jam. The lovely lady of the house prepared dishes like scrambled eggs right in front of us – everything was fresh and beautifully served. The owner would join us for a little chat at the terrace breakfast – just perfect!

Excellent location and facilities. One needs a car to get there and travel but this is clear when you book. Simonetta & Carlo were excellent hosts. They were very helpful and there was a personal touch in all their dealings. The breakfast was very good. The grounds were beautiful and included a walled garden. We could see some of the wild horses on the property. This is a great place to explore Puglia.
