Riga Old town Riverside apartments

Wow! What a fabulous apartment! We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 3&5. The location was superb, over looking a lovely square in the old town, with amazing views. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and spotless! The kitchen is very well equipped. And the free parking was a definite bonus too! Checking in was so quick and easy. I would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends and would love to visit again.

Excellent location in the old town situated close to City Hall Square and the House of Blackheads where walking tour guides can be hired to show you all major attractions. Communications and instructions are both transparent and precise. The apartment is large, comfortable and well appointed. The car park is visible from the bedroom window. Quiet, yet very close to many restaurants ; also (airport-15m, Jurmala- 25m, Turaida-55m) by car.

No issues. We were not affected but the lack of a lift might be an issue for less mobile guests.

This is a large and comfortable apartment which has a great view across the Town Hall square and up to St Peter’s Church. You hear the melodious bells of the town hall if you have the window open. The owner has been very thoughtful and the apartment feels very welcoming with nice touches like coffee for the coffee machine; bathrobes; nice shampoo and body lotion; town maps and flowers on the table. The bed is firm and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The communication with the owner was very straightforward so we could access the apartment with all the necessary key codes and a photo of the front door so we knew we were in the right place. This is the best apartment we have stayed in on our current trip.

The apartment is on the fifth floor which means it has a great view. However you have to earn this by climbing the stairs as there is no elevator. A small price to pay but if you can’t cope with stairs then this may not be the apartment for you.

The apartment was large and comfortable. It was also decorated beautifully. The location was absolutely perfect, a short walk to the central market and everything in Old Riga. The views from both sides of the place were lovely. We were provided with coffee, tea, soaps, robes, candy, and much more. There was also free parking behind the building. The hosts were super helpful too!

If I had to dig deep for a dislike, it would be the stairs. Don’t let that deter you though, the place is worth it.

Among the 11 different accommodations that I stayed during my 14 days road trip around Estonia & Latvia, this apartment is the best ever! Beyond the ratings and pictures, what stands out is the host's attention to details in making the stay enjoyable. Snacks, beverages, cooking ingredients and toiletries that are normally only found in hotels. Fan that's useful during this time of the year and yes, the only apartment that had 2 umbrellas that we used as it had been raining. At night, there's bathrobes provided and the bedroom and living area can be closed and locked separately for greater privacy. Toilet and bathroom comes separated too for greater convenience. Lastly, a place to park your car is included right at the heart of the Old Town which is walkable all around that is important as there's no free parking available in the old town. The Riga Central Market is also just a 15 minutes walk away too.

The apartment has a great view as it's on the highest floor (5th level). Those carrying luggage be prepared to carry them up as there's no lifts in the building.
