My stay at That’s Amore Accommodation in Tropea was simply fantastic. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of the historic center (Centro Storico), surrounded by charming restaurants and bars, and just a few steps away from a breathtaking sea view. The building itself has an authentic charm with a rustic courtyard that perfectly complements the surroundings. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and modern, making my stay very comfortable. I especially want to highlight the excellent service. Antonio and Federica, the hosts, were incredibly attentive and helpful, which made me feel very welcome. A real highlight was the à la carte breakfast, included in the price. It was such a pleasure to order everything fresh and as desired without a buffet. The That’s Amore restaurant is also worth mentioning, known for its amazing seafood dishes – a must for food lovers. Despite being in a lively area, the soundproofing in the room was excellent, so I didn’t hear any noise from outside. Overall, a wonderful place to experience Tropea. I would definitely come back

Everything was perfect, the host incredibly nice. The service was out of this world. Very good location, the view really nice. In the evening, there was a guy playing the guitar under our window :)

Nothing to complain about.

Very clean, well decorated, property was in a great location for all the local amenities. Tropea itself was lovely, a blend of Sorrento, Rome, and Venice and it was a nice size to be able to experience the town over a couple of days.

There’s no parking, so it’s either a car park or on-street parking and walking to the property. In-room facilities were very poor, no tea or milk, and the kettle had an adaptor plug which didn’t fit any sockets. The breakfast was a voucher for a nearby cafe/restaurant but the options were very limited and you could only have 3 items. By far our biggest complaint was the fact the air conditioning didn’t work. I messaged the person who greeted us and someone was supposed to come and sort it, but never showed. We had to make do with quite loud fans, but it didn’t really help much. When the air-con did briefly work, it was positioned under a shelf, so probably wouldn’t have been very effective anyway.
