The Farmery Garden and Guesthouse

The host was very good at communicating and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay and exactly what expected.

I had such a great "farmery" experience at this cozy little cottage. Like aquafresh - all in one, mum. I was attending a wedding closeby. The location off the high way and to the wedding venue was perfect! The cottage had everything I needed and where it was not there - the host was there to lend a hand - from scissors for my dress to a cool beverage to scare away the heat. A hair dryer, iron, aircon, lovely bed, coffee and milk, a farewell rooster and some passion fruits were on the cards. The host was so accommodating, helpful and welcoming. She even accommodated me for a second night for free due to some "missing out" (from my part and not hers) the initial evening. Nothing was too much to ask. The cottage was comfortable and rusticly stylish! Nice decor touches and user friendly. An amazing blooming scent at the door. This was a "welcome home" stay which I thoroughly enjoyed!!!

The Farmery is a delightful destination for a quiet getaway. Set on a working chicken farm, surrounded by lush fields and only the sounds of nature. The host, Nikki, is very welcoming and a fantastic communicator and was in touch with us from the time we booked, throughout our stay, and at checkout. The cottage itself is quaint and cosy, reminding me of my granny's farmhouse. Wooden floors, a whistling kettle, and soft lighting provide a nostalgic ambience. The couch is comfy and the 2-seater dining table is really cute. There is complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar, a mini kitchen perfect for quick meals, and Nikki even provided some milk at check in to get us going. The king bed is extremely comfortable and one of the best I've slept in during all my travels. Even the rooster might not wake you up. The bedroom is comfortable, private, and serene. The bathroom is simple, well-equipped, spacious, and hot water is readily available from all taps. We had amazing showers every day of our stay. There is a passion fruit vine growing outside the cottage and if you're there at the right time you might just get lucky. Check-in was quick, and checkout was unrushed. Nikki even gifted us fresh eggs to take home.

There was very little not to like, and the host was very receptive to our suggestions.

I liked the peace and quite of the place no distractions

The Farmery met our expectations and more! The bed was incredibly comfortable – definitely the highlight of our stay. Nicki, our host, was super friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our time there!
