Middlehead Huts

We were messaged well before arrival of a self service check which was an absolute breeze! Absolutely over the moon with the small little touches (bbq & fire logs and bread and milk) they thought of every little detail. Facilities all lovely and clean! Honestly we went for a relaxing break and it was pure bliss and so cosy! What a little peace of heaven! We shall certainly be returning (we didn’t wanna come home!)

The layout was contact but good Hot tub was ready to get into straightaway. Enough privacy from other huts.

Everything, from the moment we arrived, the lovely drive through the "forest'. The welcome pack of bread, milk, water, butter, thank you all was great and appreciated, even a disposable bbq, we didn't get use that but great idea and the hot tub was ready and perfect temperature, robes and towels provided, we were straight in! The hut itself FABULOUS ! Bed comfortable ✔️ Kitchen with everything you need ✔️ Loo and shower✔️ cleanliness, excellent✔️ Outside area peaceful✔️ Small fishing lake if you like to fish. Highly recommend Middlehead Huts. I have already put the word out to family and friends. We will most definitely be booking to visit again, hopefully a longer stay.

A cosy & secluded Hut located in the middle of woodland, ideal for a couples break or a bestie weekend getaway. Everything was perfect; the AC/Heating was fantastic, the hot tub was amazing and warm on our arrival. Considering the price, the value is outstanding. There are other huts, but they are spaced far enough apart so that privacy in the hot tub is ample. The hosts have thought of everything, from bathrobes to Milk & bread waiting when you arrive. We will defo be returning!! Would especially recommend to walker couples!

Very quiet and peaceful location. Compact but comfortable cabin.

Very quite location, only the birds and the fountain in the pond to be heard. Exceptionally clean. Self check in was good for us since we arrived around 7pm. Really well thought out in regards to things one might need- barbecue utensils, spray for midges, citronella sticks and holders, salt, pepper, oils, hot drinks etc. Plus bread and milk. The hot tub was hot on arrival. The stay was perfect.

We had a fantastic weekend stay in the shepherds hut. The huts are well equipped, the owners have thought of everything including bath robes, firepit and bbq. The hut is comfy and cosy, perfect for a chilled weekend away. The hot tub is clean and was warmed up for our arrival. Theres a good country/forrest walk to Newton right at the side of the main cottage. I would definitely return and recommend! Thank you for a great weekend.

We stayed in 'The Sett', one of the huts. It was lovely inside, clean, ample space for 2 people. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The best part was the hot tub. Loved the little touches like recommending a spray for midges, and then actually supplying the spray, and the supplies of bread, jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. Me and my husband really loved our stay here. The location was so peaceful and tranquil. There is a little village around 20 mins drive away with some shops, supermarkets and lovely places to eat also.

It really is in the middle of nowhere (which is nice) but getting to it, up and down long and winding country roads, steep hills etc was a nightmare for our little car but the views were gorgeous still. Also no bulb in the side lamp which would have been nice to use in the evening and could have done with an extra toilet roll.
