Sugar House City Center Apartment

The apartment itself, was a 2.5, but the host put such a tender touch on it, I give it a 4 out of 5. Dalma, who was charming to speak to and speaks fluent English, put some TLC into the place. There was a bottle of wine and two glasses, a piece of chocolate on the nightstand, the kitchen had all the little things that matter. That didn't go unnoticed by me.

This is a real old building. I"m sure if you look close enough, you might see remnants of WWII on the outside. Be Prepared For the Elevator, which is a real trip. It's more like a very large dumbwaiter. When you first step on it, the floor will clunk down. It took two people with only carry-on luggage some time to figure out how we'll both be able to fit on. So, if you have full size luggage, it's one at a time. You might want to remember the elevator maintenance phone number as you step in, but no, it didn't break down. The two single beds are pushed together like one bed, but the beds are prepared like two single ones. Make sure you turn on the kitchen light, especially the one over the sink. You'll need it to see the hallway and the keyhole; it's very dark. There's a window that won't close completely, but it didn't bother us as it cooled the place down. There was no screen, but there were no bugs either.

Super central .. perfect for visiting Budapest, keep in mind that if you con with car sort out how to pay parking metre first .. weekends are free so are nights I used Parkl app

Upstairs was messy, the bed in the picture taken apart .. no plugs by bed to use chargers .. tv in a place not usable

Idealna lokalizacja w samym centrum pięknego Budapesztu, blisko do metra i innych środków komunikacji, dzięki czemu można było w szybki sposób przemieszczać się po mieście i nie tylko, ponieważ my akurat najczęściej jeździliśmy na tor Hungaroring :) Blisko markety. W mieszkaniu panował porządek. Były nawet dwa wiatraczki, które chłodziły nam gorące powietrze, bo trafiliśmy akurat na upały. Bardzo mili i kontaktowi gospodarze. Szczerze polecam.

Amazing location, fantastic host who was welcoming and very accomodating. Beautiful apartment and very comfortable bed. Couldn’t have been happier being here, we extended our stay!

Location was terrific for walking. Comfortable bed. Loved the old heritage of the building. Clear instructions on how to enter.

Nothing

The location is convenient. It is about 10 mins walk to the Central market hall and to the Danube River. Lots of eateries in the neighbourhood, and a supermarket. Close to Ferenciek station. The apartment is spacious. The host is very helpful and let us checked in earlier; she responded to our questions swiftly.

The 2 twin beds are together, not separate as I expected. The hardwood floor has sounds.

The location of the property is just the right one - in a quiet street just off the central city buzz It has an artsy feel as it is surrounded by interesting art galleries and boho urban cafes and restaurants. The apartment is contemporary, in a nice and safe building. It has everything you could need for the short stay. All appliances are there. The property owners are great hosts, extremely polite and willing to go the extra mile for their guests. Warm recommendation for this lovely Budapest place. I already make plans to return there :)

Perfect location.

The building was smelly, when you enter, there is very bad toilet smell. The flat cleanliness is average.

The apartment is great: very spacious, functional, well heated in winter, located in the heart of the city yet in a quiet street and close to public transport. It is a short walk from two of the city's most beautiful cafés and a ten-minute walk from the Gellert baths. There are also some very good restaurants nearby. Check-in and check-out were easy and the instructions given were very clear. Communication with the hosts was very smooth. Jean and Dalma were very considerate, offering us little gifts on our arrival, and were accommodating! I would love to return if I ever come back to Budapest!
