Madikwena Crocodile and Game Farm

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. It is possible to go for long walks on the large property and observe wild animals...pigs, antelopes, monkeys. We had a great time there. The staff was friendly, hospitable and caring. The accommodation in the lodge was beautiful, clean and very spacious. Amenities were above standard. I would love to come back sometime.

It was a very "old school farm vibe" and being able to see the crocodiles a few minutes walk from the camp site was something quite different. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful and assisted us with every need.

There was no signal, which made things a bit difficult with the children in the evenings. This is only due to us city dwellers being used to a certain style, in saying that, it was great to have a bit of a change from the normal holiday spots and some peace and quiet from the phones / devices.

Madikwena is really a sweet place, great value for money with great hosts. Lewis check up on us until we finally checked in and Robert was a true gentleman who brought us some braai vleis and the rugby score! Too sweet.

Price as compared to seclusion and size of the chalets.

Reception. You basically rented a place to sleep, period.

This Lodge is amazing!! Unbelievable friendly and kind staff. Great location, great food, sensational game drives, spectacular room!

The property was clean, quiet and peaceful.
