Banbas Resort, Chitwan

Prachtige locatie met zicht op de bufferzone van Chitwan National Park. Mooie kamers, super vriendelijk personeel!

Preis/Leistung, die direkte Lage am Eingang zum Nationalpark, der Service des Personals, Angebot im Restaurant, die Ausstattung der Zimmer, selbst der Ranger, mit dem man die Touren durchführt, ist ein Erlebnis und von höchstem Niveau. Dieses Resort ist eine absolute Empfehlung. PS: Schon beim Frühstück kann es einem passieren, dass Elefanten vorbeikommen.

Everything. Very helpful, kind and friendly staff who went out of their way to assist you. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable and stylish with everything provided for. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff very generous to us. The safari trip to the Community Park was really great with fantastic guides who were very well informed about all the wildlife including the birds. Hanging out in the pool a great way to relax.

The villas are mostly spread around the small pond which is a nice setting, many birds around the property itself, restaurant is decent with good wine options. Away from the masses.

It's a bit far from town and transport is not always easy or super-cheap. No professional birdwatching guide despite the manager's pedigree in birding.

The food was delicious, the grounds a delight, we watched a rhino in the park while we were eating our lunch on the terrace, elephants & their riders were walking past the hotel down the road, kingfishers flying over the water hole in the centre of the grounds. The staff were so lovely and professional. Our stay was gorgeous.

There was nothing I didn't like

Quiet and out the way meant it was a good place for nature spotting. Pool was amazing, good food and the rooms were nice! I’d stay here again for sure!

They don’t answer booking.com messages before you arrive!!

The hotel grounds are pleasant, and the safari tours are great.

I want to warn everyone that I experienced food poisoning at this hotel — the only time it happened during my 10 days in Nepal. The dish responsible was a vegetable stir-fry. I reported the incident to the hotel management, but unfortunately, they took no action. Cons: Constant calls to the room from reception, and the restaurant staff are overly intrusive, rooms have insufficient lighting.
