Mario Family Villa and Restaurant

It was perfect for our first night. Room was beautifully decorated, unbelievably spacious and spotlessly clean.

Mario and his family are great, they’ll help you in everything you need! They welcomed us late at our arrival and the next day when leaving helped us for the journey! Breakfast was excellent!

We had the big new room at the first floor with a terrace. Spacious and beautiful room, high to the ceiling. You can sit outside, the good breakfast is also being served outside. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, 5 minutes' walk to the beach and a road with lots of restaurants of shops. A perfect place to arrive from the airport and spend 1-2 nights before continuing. The hosts are a super friendly, helpful family, which arranged for us to be fetched from the airport and even booked reserved seats for our further travel in a climatized bus to Anuradhapura. They also brought us to the bus stop, which was a great help! We can really recommend Marios Family House. Would definitely go there again.

The breakfast was very tasty. It was located in a quiet street just off the main road . It’s a short walk to the local shops, restaurants and the beach. The owners were very welcoming and the property was spotless

We had an amazing experience. The room was comparable to a 5☆ resort. Roshan and his wife went the extra mile to accommodate us as we had a late check-out. Highly recommended. Location was perfect. Close to amazing eating outlets and the beach.

Great place to stay in Negombo, stayed for one night but would have stayed longer! The family are lovely and were very helpful. They organized a tuk tuk tour for us with Christy which was great value and his local knowledge was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and had good air conditioning. Thanks again!
