Cozy Cobblers Cabin

Microwave would have been good

Had been looking forward to this stay as my friend was getting married on the site (Barns at Hunsbury Hill). The cabin was super cute, had everything we needed for the night. Plenty of blankets and cushions to make it super cosy. We lit the fire indoors - everything we needed was there. The outdoor area was nice - although it was raining so we didn't use it. It was very dog friendly and the outdoor area was enclosed ,there were also games there to play which was a lovely touch. I wish we had more time to enjoy the cabin itself. It was literally a minutes walk to the wedding venue so was ideal for us, but was also very private.

Lock on the main gate was a bit fiddly and the guest in the nearby cabin locked us in, making it difficult to get out in a rush as the lock was on the outside of the gate.

Stayed on way back from Gatwick after a long journey. Rang for an earlier check in, no problem said Tamsin. Warm, cosy and comfortable just what we needed. Beautiful location in wooded garden.

lovely place very quaint and had everything you need. Check in was easy and owners contact and check in information was great.

garden area looks secure and enclosed but wasn't. we took our 2 small cockapoos and this made our stay stressful as they has to be kept on a lead at all times whilst outside. Toilet isn't advertised as bio toilet which also made the stay stressful as I have IBD and would definitely not have booked it if known. Location isn't ideal as its at the back of barns and area is very uneven to get to hut. wouldn't book again for these reasons. however it's ideal for a younger couple wishing to get away from it all.

WiFi a bit variable which affected TV reception

Very well thought out, superbly comfortable, undeniably quaint. There were all the comforts you could need, a lovely outside area to relax and a chimnea to keep you warm in the evening. We had such a relaxing night we were sad we hadn’t booked for a longer stay. The host had supplied a little welcome basket, milk and fresh coffee. There was a ‘guide’ on how to use the eco friendly loo! If you had dogs(which we don’t) there was even bowls, poo bags and treats! 100% recommend this beautiful cabin.

Make sure to bring groceries you need as not too much on the doorstep but there are plenty of small stores about ten minutes drive away.

I was a guest at a wedding at the venue on the same pitch, so the location was amazing. The cabin had everything you needed. The greeting was nice, and the bed was lovely and comfortable.

The only thing I'd prefer is a flushing toilet, not a composting toilet, BUT not the end of the world.

This cabin is such a little gem! Everything is so carefully thought, it is the cutest, cosiest place. With the suburb around, you wouldn't expect finding such a green paradise. Tamsin is great at providing all the details and explanations.
