We were climbing Snowdon and so found breakfast a little late and slow for us. Had we wanted a lounging day it would be great

first class service and a beautiful location

Lovely gardens, comfortable lounge area, large room and bathroom (room 1), all staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was all great quality but expensive for what it was. Good wine selection.

As with other customers, the breakfast cost structure doesn’t work. We had welsh breakfast but only wanted juice and toast extra which added £27 for two of us. The base breakfast is the continental option and you add the full cooked option. There is too much included in the continental one and I can’t believe anyone actually eats it all and therefore does not get value for money. My suggestion would be to have a price for full cooked breakfast that includes tea, juice and toast (say £18.5) and then have a separate option for fruit, croissants etc
