Concerning Adorable Apartment II, the bedroom is located directly beside the old wooden staircase, which means you hear every person going up and down. Because of the poor soundproofing, it feels as if people are entering the room, and the very high ceiling only amplifies the noise. If another guest happens to walk heavily, it is almost impossible not to be woken up. In addition, the bedroom ceiling shows clear signs of a past leakage, which should have been repaired and repainted before renting out the property again. The apartment windows open onto an enclosed outdoor space from which many mosquitoes enter. The property should have installed mosquito nets or at least provided suitable products to help guests manage this issue.

La ubicación del apartamento es buena, pero la experiencia fue muy negativa. La habitación no tenía ventanas y presentaba una humedad enorme, las puertas no cerraban bien, el plato de ducha perdía agua, una luz del baño no funcionaba y la puerta de entrada tenía un hueco considerable en la parte inferior. Además, el sofá estaba sucio, con manchas y con una quemadura de cigarro ya existente al llegar (lo grabé en vídeo nada más entrar). Lo más grave: tras la estancia me reclamaron 400€ por esa misma quemadura, a pesar de que ni fumamos ni causamos ningún daño. Esto demuestra una falta total de profesionalidad y da la sensación de que intentan responsabilizar a los huéspedes de desperfectos ya existentes. No volvería y no recomiendo este alojamiento a nadie que quiera evitar problemas o posibles intentos de cobro indebido. --- The location of the apartment is good, but the overall experience was very negative. The bedroom had no windows and a severe humidity problem, the doors wouldn’t close properly, the shower tray leaked water, one of the bathroom lights didn’t work, and the entrance door had a large gap at the bottom. On top of that, the sofa was dirty, with stains and a pre-existing cigarette burn that I recorded on video immediately upon arrival. The worst part: after the stay, I was charged €400 for that very same burn, even though we don’t smoke and clearly didn’t cause any damage. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and gives the impression that they either don’t check the property properly or deliberately try to blame guests for existing issues. I would not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone who wants to avoid stress, problems, and potential fraudulent charges

Location just two streets away from the waterfront. Lots of shops and cafes in the area, a lovely pastry shop at the top of the hill. Mini market close by. No washing machine at the unit but there is a laundrette just down the road which made it easy. Staff at check in were great, allowed us to leave our luggage in the morning.

Floors were very creaky so anyone walking about would wake the other person. Layout of Apartment 1 was a bit awkward, Apartment 2 much nicer. Bathrooms were too small, very uncomfortable to use. Clearly an addition to this heritage building but not well thought through. We called for assistance because the door locks were getting stuck. They eventually came to fix it but made us feel as if we didn’t know how to use a simple door lock.

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de las calles principales, transportes, tiendas, restauración, todo muy bien. El apartamento es amplio y tranquilo, es interior y no hay ruidos, se puede dormir muy bien. Estuvimos muy a gusto.

Para mejorar el apartamento, sugerimos la instalación de aire acondicionado, en lugar de ventiladores de suelo, una lavadora (nosotros estuvimos una semana con un niño y es necesaria), y una televisión más moderna. Otra cosa es la conexión a internet, a veces era necesario cortar la luz y volver a encender para coger conexión.

Fizeram todo o possível para que o apartamento estivesse disponível no horário da minha chegada, que era bem antes do previsto para check-in. Após uma viagem cansativa tivemos o quarto pronto pra uso. A localização é perfeita com restaurantes, lojas, supermercados, linhas de ônibus e metro, além de atrações turísticas bem perto podendo ir andando. As janelas tinham proteções sonoras, o apartamento era muito limpo num prédio histórico conservando sua arquitetura. Os equipamentos de cozinha, louças e roupas de cama e banho estavam limpas e disponíveis em ótimo estado, como novas. A comunicação com o pessoal da empresa responsável pelo apartamento era rápido e eficaz. Até conseguiram carro com motorista facilmente para minha ida ao aeroporto na madrugada.

O calor na região estava muito forte. Os ventiladores existentes não estavam dando conta nos primeiros momentos que retornamos ao apartamento. Ou seja, sentimos falta de um sistema de ar-condicionado. Fica a sugestão. Sabemos da dificuldade em instalar um sistema desse tipo em prédio antigo. O mesmo ocorre com o banheiro que poderia ser um pouco maior. Mas esses dois pontos são sugestões para melhoria. De fato, o apartamento atendeu minhas expectativas e recomendo a locação.

The location was excellent

The ceiling in the bedroom was either mouldy or stained. Bathroom was small, but we knew it would be when we booked .

Everything! I was blown away when I walked in. The apartment is gorgeous with its high ceilings and floor to ceiling doors and windows. The kitchen was well supplied and everything was thoughtfully planned out. The location was also amazing, and because I was in an interior room it was extremely quiet. The host was also very easy to communicate with and gave me all the information I needed to access the apartment seamlessly.

There is nothing I didn’t like. I truly loved this apartment.

Love the location, close to all the important sites.

The living room carpet was ripped and old. We tripped over the carpet several times luckily we didn't fall. The shower is very small, there is not much room to move around. We didn't get new towels during our stay. The TV didn't work the last morning of our stay.

Shower … hot water doesn’t last for too long … wash your hairs first 🤣 Would be useful to have salt and pepper and one more kitchen towel
